Felicity Smith

It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you that Felicity, our singing teacher, passed away of a sudden lung clot, this Monday. I know that you will miss her as much as we will. Felicity was a bubbly, inspirational teacher and we are devastated by her loss.

We will be sending flowers to the funeral next Wednesday (18th September) if anyone wants to contribute money or a tribute in words. We are happy to pass on cards.

Felicity, originally from New Zealand, was a talented mezzo soprano who had recently sung with Opera Holland Park, was covering Katisha in The Mikado at Hackney Empire last week and who should have given a concert at Dartford Parish Church this week. She was an outstanding singer.

She leaves her husband, Daniel. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the rest of Felicity’s family in this sudden and tragic loss.
